Support the ISM Scholarship Programme

All net proceeds from the 2007 Alumni Reunion will contribute to expanding the ISM Scholarship Programme.  Through this programme, ISM helps to develop the future leaders of Tanzania by giving talented local students full scholarships to complete their International Baccalaureate Diploma.  We ensure these students are successful through hosting them in our boarding programme, enabling them to participate fully in extracurricular activities and providing them with full pastoral care and college application support.

Although this programme is still in its infancy, seven scholarship students have now graduated from ISM with an IB Diploma.  Four of these students are now studying at universities in the USA (including Harvard and Duke) on full scholarships.  We are currently supporting two scholarship students, Daniel and Mhula, in IB1. Whether or not you are planning to come to the 2007 Reunion please consider supporting the ISM Scholarship Programme this year.  You could:

Through the 2007 Reunion, we hope to raise US$25,000 for the ISM Scholarship Programme.  If every alumni on our database was to donate US$10, we would easily reach our target!
